A diverse group of organizations and entities have trusted Scott and his team to service their strategic communications needs in Central Texas and beyond. A representative business client list includes Fortune 500 members like Scientific Games and Google; local leading businesses like Horizon Bank, Gila Corporation, e-MDs and Bypass Lane; non-profit organizations like The American Heart Association and The Texas Gaming Association; and municipalities like the city of Cedar Park and the city of Pflugerville. A representative political client list, both past and present, includes Governor Mitt Romney, Congressman Michael McCaul, Senator John Cornyn, The Republican Governor’s Association and The Republican Party of Texas.

Prior to his current endeavors, Scott served in the Administration of President George W. Bush as a press secretary and spokesman at the U.S. Department of Commerce. In this capacity, he worked with foreign and domestic press on U.S. international trade policy. In 2004, Scott served as Media Manager for the Group of Eight (G-8) Summit, hosted by President Bush. As Media Manager, Scott directed a concentrated media schedule for world leaders as they discussed issues concerning global policy. Scott also served on staff for a number of years in the U.S. House of Representatives handling legislative business and communications for a Member of Congress from the State of Texas.

During his time in Washington, DC, Scott served in a number of political roles that included being a press advance staff member for President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush, managing the embedded reporters program at the 2004 Republican National Convention, managing the television and radio booking program for U.S. surrogates at the 2005 WTO meetings, and fundraising for President Bush as a Bush-Cheney 2004 Maverick.

In 2007 and 2008, Scott played a key role in Texas for Governor Mitt Romney and his run for the White House. Scott raised more than $100,000 for the Governor while developing strategy for attacking the Texas political landscape. Since that time, he has continued to aid Texas Republican politicians in advising and fundraising, including being a member of Governor Rick Perry's statewide finance team and national finance team for his 2011 White House run. Over the last three years, Scott has raised nearly $250,000 for the Republican Governor's Association.

Scott holds a B.S. in Communications Studies and minor in Business from Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, TX. He currently resides in Austin with his wife, Susan, and their three year old triplets. They are active members of Lake Hills Church. Scott currently serves on the Board of Directors at the Headliners Club and is deeply involved with The Seton Fund, Dell Children's Hospital, and his alma mater, TCU, raising funds for the athletic department directed towards scholarships and facility construction.

During her time with Dunaway PR, Courtney has refined a unique strategy for message dissemination through alternative media outlets including new media, news websites, blogs, and online video websites. She brings a fresh and modern perspective to the public relations industry, offering clients creative and effective channels to communicate messages.

Courtney has a strong background in political research. She provided research services to the Senator John Cornyn re-elect and Texas Republican Party’s Victory 2008 effort. In 2010, Courtney led a research team for the Republican Governors Association.

Before joining Dunaway PR, Courtney was in Washington, D.C. as a senior research analyst for the Republican National Committee and served as a senior communications and research analyst for the McCain 2008 presidential campaign. From her time spent in D.C., Courtney developed an expertise in strategic communications, message development, public affairs, and policy and opposition research.

Courtney holds a BA in Anthropology from Texas A&M University. She resides in Austin with her husband, Scott, and young son Callum. She is active with the Young Women’s Alliance and other community based organizations.

Prior to joining Dunaway PR and The Monument Group, Alison worked for Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide in New York for two years following college. As an Account Executive in Ogilvy’s Public Affairs Practice, Alison worked on key global client accounts including American Express, BP Castrol, FM Global, Iceland Naturally, and LexisNexis. Alison assisted in the development of several PR plans and was responsible for crafting extensive research reports and media analyses as well as traditional and digital coverage reports.

A Washington, D.C. native with Texas roots, Alison earned a BS in Communications Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
